Coach House
A Victorian coach house, hot tub & games room
The Coach House sleeps 10 people (8 adults plus 2 children) in spatial accommodation that includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a large country kitchen with Aga, a substantial breakfast and dining area, and a large sitting room with fireplace. A separate games room in the west stable block includes table tennis and pool table, as well as comfy sofas and a wood-burning stove. The 3.5 acres of gardens includes a large wood-fired hot tub, BBQ area, and a croquet lawn. On your doorstep are 320 acres of restoring wildlife habitat to explore as part of the Lofftwen farm estate, and many more miles of rarely trodden footpaths beyond.
The Coach House provided stabling and laundry facilities for what was then the Dolecoed Country Hotel. The property is launching as a holiday let in the first quarter of 2025. If you are interested in booking then please get in touch will@lofftwen.com.
A lot has changed at the Coach House in recent weeks. The images below are a little out of date but we hope they give you a sense of the place. We will be regularly updating the imagery ahead of our formal launch beginning April 1st, but if you have any questions about any of the bedrooms, living spaces or facilities in the meantime please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Cooking & heating
Fully equipped kitchen including a 5-door Aga* converted to electric, fridge/freezer, separate electric oven and induction hob, microwave and toaster. Outdoor cooking on a Webber BBQ.
Centrally heated throughout. Large wood burning stove in the sitting room, and an even bigger stove in the games room.
*The Aga is gorgeous, but it is not the most practical to cook on if you are not used to it. It is also very expensive to run, and we have therefore provided more conventional alternatives. But if your dream is to cook on an Aga, then we can accommodate. Please get in touch to discuss.
