Craft, history, culture, music and events
Llanwrtyd Wells may be Britain’s Smallest Town, but it punches well above its weight when it comes to history, music and culture. The local heritage centre is the place to head for a sense of this history and culture, with interactive exhibits and fascinating stories. For live music, keep an eye on the rapidly exapnding program of events at Chapel, set up by Llanwrtyd Wells-born tech entrepreneur, Irfon Watkins and his long-time friend and Kasabian Drummer Ian Matthews.
For the more adventurous, Green Events run a series of mountainbiking, running, riding, rambling events that range from stone skimming to ultra marathons. A little further afield are a whole host of diverse activities and places to visit, from distillery tours and gold mines to castles and abbeys. More details below.
